# Set low balance alerts and funding reminders

> Get an email when your wallet balance drops below an amount you choose.

Set a threshold and Cowork emails the recipients you choose when your wallet balance falls below it, so you can top up before checks start failing.

## Set up an alert

**1. Open Billing & Wallets**

Click your **Profile icon**, then select **Billing & Wallets**.

**2. Open Balance Alerts**

Click **Balance Alerts**.

**3. Turn on the notification**

Enable **Low Balance Notification**.

**4. Set the threshold and recipients**

Enter the threshold amount, for example N50,000, and the email addresses that should receive the alert.

**5. Save**

Click **Save Preferences**.
