# Youverify: FRAML Platform for Modern Compliance Teams

> Youverify provides KYC, KYB, AML screening, and transaction monitoring in one unified API platform built for fintechs and payment processors.

Youverify is a unified FRAML (fraud and anti-money laundering) platform that lets you onboard, verify, monitor, and investigate individuals and businesses through a single set of APIs and credentials. Instead of stitching together separate KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring tools, Youverify gives you one consistent data model — the **Entity 360** — so your compliance team always has the full picture.

## How It Works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Get your API key">
    Sign in to the [Youverify Cowork dashboard](https://cowork.youverify.co) and generate a secret API key from your workspace settings. You'll get separate keys for sandbox and production.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create an entity">
    Add any individual or business to the platform. Start with as little as an email address — Youverify creates a risk-scored record immediately and lets you enrich it over time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run verifications">
    Trigger KYC identity checks, KYB business lookups, AML screenings, or transaction risk evaluations against the entity using the same credentials.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Monitor and act">
    Receive webhook notifications as verification results and risk signals arrive. Escalate to cases, review with AI summaries, and make informed decisions.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Environments

Youverify provides two isolated environments:

| Environment | Base URL | Purpose |
| - | - | - |
| **Sandbox** | `https://api.sandbox.youverify.co` | Test integrations with synthetic data — not billed |
| **Production** | `https://api.youverify.co` | Live checks against authoritative sources — billed |

<Note>
  Always use your sandbox credentials for development and testing. Never use a sandbox key against the production endpoint or vice versa.
</Note>
