# Anti-Deepfake Liveness SDK

> Confirm a live person is present, not a photo, video or deepfake, with the Youverify Liveness SDK for web, Android and iOS.

The Anti-Deepfake Liveness SDK confirms that a live person, not a photo, video or deepfake, is completing a verification. The user performs a short head-movement task inside your app, and Youverify handles the detection logic.

## Choose your platform

> Add liveness detection to a browser-based app with an npm package or CDN script.

> Add liveness detection to your iOS app using Swift, via CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager.

## Liveness tasks

The Android and iOS SDKs support four task types. You choose which tasks to run when you start the SDK.

| Task | What the user does |
| - | - |
| Complete the Circle | Traces a circle with head movement |
| Motions | Performs a random sequence of nods, blinks and mouth opening |
| Blink | Blinks a set number of times |
| Yes or No | Answers questions by tilting their head |

## Before you integrate

Every liveness flow needs a session ID and a liveness token generated from your backend with your secret API key. See [Session tokens](https://doc.youverify.co/sdks/liveness-sdk.md) for the endpoints, request parameters and expiry rules.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Never embed your secret API key in a web page or mobile app. Generate tokens server-side and pass only the resulting values to the SDK.
